Last week I wrote about my design for the KineMagic.
Several questions remained:

1. "necking" in KiCad
2. Board design of the KineMagic
3. Collaboration decision.

The necking in KiCad I replaced by a dirty solution including a polygon fill. This also solved all of my board design, so the new design is there ready for your comments.

As for collaboration I have decided to create an github repo.

Any questions, don't hesitate to create a comment.
Things to do:

• Find a way to put my QR code on the silkscreen.
• Remove all silkscreens
  
• Add usefull markings on the silkscreen.
  

The schematic block for the L6470

For the people that did not read my guest blog on Erik his page.
I have been involved in designing some new electronics for the reprap project. This means that I have added a new category for my own blog. This is also the reason why i revived it (e.g. load times are now less then 45 seconds).

This is my newest entry about the KineMagic electronics.
In this post I will discuss:

1. the limitations of Eagle and the switch to KiCad.
2. the new library (schematic block) and module (footprint)
   
3. the new schematic, and the reasoning behind it.

Dear all,

I have updated our blog to some new software in such a way that it is now usable (alas nog spam protection in place waiting for the provider to change the security settings)
Also I have some other topics to blag on. Like: Our children, Sjoerd and Casper (see our picasa site)

and my work at the electronics for the reprap.

Gisteren is het dan gebeurd, na veel heen en weer geslinger tussen wel of geen keizersnede. Is het uiteindelijk toch een keizersnede geworden. Maar daar kwamen twee hele leuke mannetjes uit te voorschijn.

Sjoerd - 21:49 - 1955 gram
Casper - 21:50 - 2765 gram

Ze maken het goed maar liggen nog wel op de neonatologie afdeling van het MST, Sjoerd ligt daar in een couveuse en Casper ligt al in een lekker wiegje.
Ook Tanja ligt nog in het MST vanwege haar keizersnede.

Het is alweer een hele tijd geleden dat ik een logje getypt heb, vandaar deze kleine update

De VAC terapie was geen succes, maar de daarop volgende therapie met Mepilex wel. Mijn wond werdt ziender ogen kleiner en is nu helemaal verdwenen. Het gaat zelf zo goed dat mijn volgende afspraak bij de chirurg pas in september is en de thuiszorg nog maar om de week komt om te controleren of alles goed gaat. Dus dat gaat allemaal super.

Weken gaat ook steeds beter, ik zit nu op 30 uur in de week vanaf maandag zelfs 35 uur. 

Dus alles gaat voorspoedig.

Verder wil ik jullie allemaal even wijzen op mijn neef Erik die met zijn reprap de wereld aan het veranderen is.
